ShareCursor is free and open source. Grab the installer for your OS below — no account, no Rust, no license. After installing, follow the Quickstart to set up your two machines.

Early development: ShareCursor may not work reliably on every setup yet. Your bug reports, improvement ideas, and pull requests help improve it.

Universal .dmg — Apple Silicon + Intel.

Download for Windows

.exe installer — no administrator rights needed.

The builds are unsigned (no paid Apple/Microsoft certificate), so your OS shows a one-time warning on first launch. Follow the Installation guide to review and allow the app.

Install with a package manager

After you install

1. Grant permissions (macOS)

   Enable Accessibility + Input Monitoring for ShareCursor in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Full details in the Installation guide.

2. Allow the firewall (Windows)

   On first run, tick Private networks and click Allow access (port 24800).

3. Set it up

   Open Quickstart and share your keyboard & mouse in 60 seconds.
